Her Trails is a women-led endurance platform specialising in race-specific preparation. We don’t train distances in isolation. We prepare runners for terrain, elevation, technical load and fatigue accumulation, building the durability, confidence and decision-making required for long days in the mountains.

What GPT Asks of You

GPT does not soften its demands. Long climbs, technical descents and relentless terrain require strength that is built deliberately, not borrowed on race day. Early overreach is rarely obvious here, but it is always paid for later.

Descents are not recovery. They load the legs, challenge stability and demand attention underfoot. Fatigue accumulates through elevation, technical terrain and repeated muscular effort across hours, or across multiple days.

This is where Her Trails places its focus. Strength, pacing restraint, technical confidence and fuel discipline matter more than bravado. Preparation must support durability, decision making and composure across a long day in the mountains.

A focused trail running mission designed to support GPT preparation through technical trail practice, shared training and time on terrain in the Grampians.

Based in Halls Gap, this run mission is designed for athletes preparing for the Grampians Peaks Trail Ultra who want more time on technical trail and in mountain terrain before November. It is a chance to bring the training to life through guided movement, shared experience and intentional preparation.

Across the weekend, the focus will be on trail running, GPT-specific preparation and building comfort on technical terrain. As with all Her Trails experiences, the environment will be supportive, grounded and designed to help runners feel more capable rather than more intimidated.
