Two Bays Trail Run 28km

Your Her Trails Training Journey

A point-to-point coastal classic, the Two Bays Trail Run 28km takes you from Dromana to Cape Schanck across single track, sandy bushland, and steep climbs. With over 700m elevation gain, this runnable yet demanding course rewards preparation, strength, and presence.

Our program will get you there: ready to move with confidence and rhythm.

Program Starts: 27 Oct 2025

Duration: 12 Weeks

Race Day: 11 Jan 2026

How We Build You for Two Bays

Our 12-week program prepares you for the runnable climbs and sustained efforts of the Two Bays course. Each phase layers strength, rhythm, and endurance so you arrive calm, confident, and ready for the Cape Schanck finish line.

  • Phased structure: Priming → Building → Strengthening → Sharpening & Taper.
  • Female-specific design: volume, recovery, and intensity adapt to women’s physiology for sustainable progression.
  • Terrain-specific prep: rolling base runs, hill strength, and rhythm sessions tailored to Two Bays’ flowy climbs and sandy descents.
  • Holistic focus: strength, mobility, fuelling, and mindset integrated to build both performance and resilience.
  • Life-aligned approach: training that works with your energy and schedule, not against it.

Training for the Whole Woman

  • Female-led design: guided by women who understand the intersection of physiology, psychology, and real-life demands.
  • Adaptive training: accommodates energy fluctuations, hormonal shifts, and lifestyle rhythms.
  • Nervous system support: learn to train hard, recover deeply, and stay grounded through the process.

  • Weekly live coaching calls: access guidance, ask questions, and connect your training with intention.
  • Shared journey: train alongside women preparing for Two Bays and other summer trail events.
  • Her Trails Community Hub: your daily source of connection, accountability, and encouragement.
