Why This Matters

This isn't about chasing someone else's pace

It's about learning how your body runs fast, and building the confidence to trust it.

Speed is one of the most misunderstood elements of training for women. Most generic plans were built on research done on men, then handed to us as if our bodies should respond the same way. They don't. When speed work ignores recovery, hormonal rhythm and sustainable load, it produces short-term gains and long-term fatigue. We have all seen what that looks like: the first PB, then the slow slide into injury, illness or quiet burnout.

This program takes a different position. Over six weeks, you will build speed and efficiency in a way that respects recovery, rhythm and real life. Every session is designed with women's physiology in mind, so you can train hard without tipping into overload. The aim isn't to flatten you with effort. It's to teach your body what fast feels like, repeatedly, so that confidence and capacity stay with you long after the block ends.

Six weeks is a deliberate choice. Long enough for real adaptation. Short enough to commit to without disrupting your life, your longer goals, or the rest of your training year. You finish stronger, smoother and more self-aware as a runner. That carries everywhere.

Who This Is For

This program is right for you if

Find Your Fast is built for runners who already have a 10km base and want to know what their next layer of capacity feels like. Not faster as punishment. Faster as understanding.

Β

Right For You If

You want to feel smoother at pace

You can run 10km comfortably but the moment you try to lift the pace, something falls apart. Form, breathing, confidence. You want to know what efficient running actually feels like in your body, not in a chart.

You finish with: a clearer sense of cadence, posture and effort at pace

Β

Right For You If

You're ready for structure without pressure

You want a plan that tells you what to do and why, without locking you into a goal time you didn't choose. Each week has a clear shape, but the program adapts to where you are, not the other way around.

You finish with: confidence in a framework you can return to

Β

Right For You If

You value recovery as much as effort

You already know that the hard sessions only work when the easy days are honoured. Recovery is built into the structure of this program, not bolted on as an afterthought. Easy means easy. Hard means deliberately hard.

You finish with: training habits that hold up across a season, not just six weeks

Β

Right For You If

You want speed that feels sustainable

You're not interested in a six-week sprint to a single PB followed by months of feeling flat. You want the kind of speed that integrates into the rest of your running life and becomes a tool you can use, not a peak you fall off.

You finish with: speed that sticks, and a body that's ready for what's next

How We Train For It

Speed designed around your physiology, not against it

Every element of this program is built around how women adapt to fast running. The structure is specific because your body is specific.

Base Camp Platform Access

Alongside your six-week program, you'll get access to Base Camp, our member platform offering insight into how your cycle shapes training, recovery and adaptation, so you can train with more awareness of your physiology.

Mobility, Yoga & Weekly Insights

Mobility and yoga sessions designed for runners, plus weekly deep-dive topics inside Base Camp, layered alongside your program to support a more holistic understanding of how your body trains, recovers and adapts.

Pacing Intelligence

Most runners pace from their watch. We train you to pace from your body. Effort-based sessions develop the internal signal of threshold, repeatable race pace and comfortable hard, so you stop guessing on race day and stop overcooking your hardest workouts.

Efficiency Under Load

Speed is often the wrong word. What we are really building is efficiency: less wasted movement, better cadence, cleaner posture at pace. Sessions are structured so that fast feels lighter, not harder, and your body learns to move through fatigue without falling apart.

Strength That Supports Speed

Integrated strength work targets the specific patterns that protect the female runner at pace: posterior chain, hip stability, single-leg control. Two sessions a week, designed to complement the run program, not compete with it.

Recovery as a Training Input

Mobility, sleep guidance and fuelling are treated as part of the program, not bonus content. The fast sessions only do their job if the easy days hold their shape. You will be coached on what recovery actually looks like, including the unglamorous parts.

The Mindset of Fast

Speed work asks something different of you mentally. Coaching content addresses the inner dialogue that shows up when sessions get hard, when a workout doesn't go to plan, and when you're staring down a pace that used to feel impossible. The aim is not to push through it. The aim is to know yourself in it.

Common Questions

What runners ask before they start

Do I need a time goal?

No. Some women come to refine a PB, others to feel stronger and more confident at pace. Both are valid, and the program supports either path.

What if I'm tired or juggling a lot?

This block is structured but adaptable. You will be guided on when to push and when to hold back, so the plan supports your life rather than fighting it.

Is speed work safe?

Yes. Sessions build progressively and focus on quality, not punishment or overload. Strength, recovery and mobility are integrated to protect you as the intensity rises.

When can I start?

Anytime. The program is self-paced inside a six-week structure and meets you where you are right now.

What happens after checkout?

You will receive immediate access to your training inside the Her Trails platform, plus guidance on how to begin and where to find support if you need it.

You're not committing to a pace. You're committing to understanding yourself better.

Also Worth Considering

Training for more than one goal this season?

Instead of purchasing individual programs, many runners choose the Her Trails All-In Membership for broader training support across the year. If you plan to complete more than one program this season, the All-In Membership is usually the most cost-effective option and gives our coaching team the ability to support you as you transition between races, training blocks and recovery periods.
